Multi-Asset Portfolio Manager

Our client is a global financial institution currently building out its asset management platform in ASEAN, with Singapore positioned as the regional investment hub. This will be the firm's first senior investment hire in Southeast Asia and a key appointment as part of its regional expansion plans.

They are looking to appoint an experienced investment professional with a strong multi-asset background and the ability to bridge investment thinking with sophisticated client engagement across institutional and wealth channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute macro and ASEAN investment views into regional investment discussions and portfolio positioning
• Drive cross-asset investment thinking across equities, fixed income, FX and alternative investments
• Research and propose new investment strategies and portfolio ideas relevant to ASEAN investors
• Partner institutional investors, family offices, private banks and wealth intermediaries across the region
• Act as an investment representative and product specialist to communicate portfolio positioning, investment rationale and market outlook to clients
• Support regional business expansion and asset growth initiatives

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience within multi-asset investing, investment strategy, client portfolio management or investment specialist functions
• Strong understanding of asset allocation, portfolio construction and macro investing
• Experience interacting with institutional or sophisticated wealth clients
• Blend of investment credibility and client-facing capability, rather than a pure sales profile
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex investment ideas for clients
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable operating in a growing regional platform
