Job Description

This will be a 1-year contract position based in Jurong West.

Responsibilities

Gather customer requirements and propose feasible solutions.
Create Automation/Software/Electrical control technology to solve problems in manufacturing and supply chain.
Designing and troubleshooting machine electrical & control systems.
Create Programmable Logic Control program for automatic machine control & processes.
Software Integration
Support overall application lifecycle.
Site testing and system deployment.
Technical support and troubleshooting.
Installing special purpose machine or system.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical or relevant discipline
Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in machine assembly, manufacturing & automation
Experienced in PLC programming exp in using Beckhoff.
Proficient with C and Python programming
Able to translate research ideas into solutions.
Able to deliver under tight schedule.
Team player.
Possess research and engineering ethics.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Advantageous to have:

IEC 61131-3 standard.
Machine HMI programming.
Electrical control design.
Robot programming.
Industrial communication protocol like EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus and any others.
Autonomous vehicle.
Automation and manufacturing industry.
