PLC/ Integration software Programmer

Key Skill Requirements : PLC and DDC Programming, BMS (Building Management System), SCADA Additional Skills (Good to have): Python, SQL, SCADA

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. PLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for Air Conditioning Systems.

2. Installation and Configuration of PLC and DDC onsite.

3. Configuration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.

4. Read and process engineering documents, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.

5. Should work along with other developers to integrate the PLC & DDC sensor data to Data Stage.

6. Should have understanding about communication protocols (MQTT, MODBUS, MANNET)

7. Design the Control & Programming, Testing, and Implementation to create automatic schedules.

8. Prepare Machine Operation Manual and Documentation.

9. Design and implement control logic, automation sequences and scheduling functions, including testing and commissioning .

10. Configure, supervise and troubleshoot high-level connectivity between site equipment, cloud platforms and BMS systems .

11. Handle data communication and system integration, working closely with SQL databases for data storage, processing and analytics.

12.Lead and support internal initiatives to improve automation processes, system reliability and team capability.

Qualification and Skills:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College.

2. Three to five years experience in programming PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.

3. Experience interpreting process control documents.

4. Experience in preparing O&M documents for the operations.

5. Troubleshoot the existing PLC's and check for any problems.

6. Having knowledge of Unity 3d, Python and Rest API would be an added advantage.
