We are looking for a Plant Manager (Construction Vehicle Rental) to oversee the operations, utilisation, and profitability of a fleet of construction vehicles and heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of construction vehicles and equipment (e.g., excavators, cranes, lorries, boom lifts)
• Drive fleet utilisation rates and ensure optimal deployment across projects
• Coordinate with contractors, project teams, and clients on equipment requirements and delivery timelines
• Oversee maintenance planning, servicing schedules, and breakdown management to minimize downtime
• Monitor and control operating costs (fuel, repairs, manpower, logistics)
• Work closely with the commercial/sales team on rental pricing, contracts, and client servicing
• Track fleet performance metrics (utilisation %, downtime, ROI per asset)
• Manage third-party vendors, transport logistics, and equipment mobilization/demobilization
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, LTA requirements, and equipment certifications
• Lead and manage plant supervisors, mechanics, and dri

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in construction plant, equipment rental, or fleet management
• Strong understanding of heavy equipment operations and maintenance
