Job Description

Role Overview:

As an Executive in Planning, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of operational, tactical, and strategic plans to optimise our company's performance and resource utilization. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including production, procurement, and project management, to ensure alignment of planning activities with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and updating comprehensive production and operational plans to facilitate efficient workflow and resource management.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to inform decision-making processes and support forecasting activities.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of planning information.
  • Monitor ongoing project progress and report on key performance indicators, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Support the optimisation of planning tools and systems to enhance accuracy and responsiveness in planning cycles.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to streamline planning processes and promote operational excellence.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management review, clearly communicating insights and recommendations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in planning, scheduling, or project coordination, preferably within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable plans.
  • Proficiency in planning software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
