Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review contractual documentation to gain a thorough understanding of the project's overall strategy, enabling accurate and effective planning assessments of the defined work scope.
  • Provide on-site support to the project planning team by receiving, analyzing, and validating planning and control data identify potential risks or deviations, and communicate findings to the project management team in a timely manner.
  • Participate actively in planning and coordination meetings, as well as all relevant site meetings, to remain informed of key issues, challenges, and priorities impacting project execution.
  • Review and provide commentary on reports, schedules, and all planning-related deliverables pertaining to site activities promptly escalate any inconsistencies, anomalies, or areas of concern to the management team.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Planning and Construction & Assembly (C&A) teams, ensuring alignment between field activities and the most recent approved project schedule verify that work is progressing in accordance with the established timelines and milestones.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically in similar planning or project control roles
  • Proficient in planning software, including Primavera P6, MS Project, and related tools
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project risk management, scheduling, and other PMBOK-related areas
  • Demonstrated experience in the development, analysis, and ongoing adjustment of project schedules using Primavera P6, particularly for large-scale or technically complex projects.
  • Skilled in issuing and analyzing Critical Path Reports
  • Capable of preparing and managing daily and weekly project reports and activity control updates
  • In-depth understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and project control tools, including S-curves and rundown curves
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience with FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) construction and commissioning is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
