Picture Framer Assistant

Responsibilities

. Operating machines to cut, plane, turn, shape and sand work pieces.

. Removing old finishes of picture frames of customers

. Applying varnish, shellac, lacquer, stains, and paint to surfaces and polishing and waxing finished surfaces.

. Fitting and fastening frame pieces.

. Mounting backing materials and subjects for framing

. Other general works instructed by Dept Head

Requirements:

. Technical Capacity

. Must be physically fit.

. Must be able to handle heavy physical works.

. Enjoy practical and manual activities.

. Good time management skills to meet targets and deadlines.

. An approachable manner and good communication skills, able to conserve in English & Chinese.

. Responsible for ensuring company resources are used in an effective

manner to ensure best operating costs.

. Display and aptitude for learning

. Be able to work neatly and accurately.

. A willingness to work flexibly.

. Have good hand-eye coordination.

. No work experience is needed

Qualification:

. O Level and below / ITE

. Basic knowledge of computer literacy

Others

. Working Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30am to 6pm

. Occasional public holiday and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
