Clinicians take time to perform thorough examinations, explain findings clearly, and provide appropriate treatment or referrals when needed, helping clients return to full function as quickly as possible. Edge Healthcare operates within a multidisciplinary network, working closely with doctors, surgeons, podiatrists, trainers, and sports coaches to achieve optimal outcomes. Clinics are located at Telok Ayer, Robinson Road, and Forum Mall in Orchard/Tanglin, offering convenient access for clients and team members.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist role based at Edge Healthcare's Orchard location. The Physiotherapist will assess clients through detailed clinical examinations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring progress, updating clinical notes, educating clients on injury prevention and self-management, and coordinating care with other medical and health professionals. The role also involves contributing to a research-informed practice, participating in case discussions, and supporting continuous improvement of clinical protocols. Physiotherapists are expected to maintain high professional standards, ensure a safe treatment environment, and deliver compassionate, client-centered care.
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current professional registration or eligibility to register in Singapore.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation planning.
- Ability to interpret clinical findings, use evidence-based practice, and tailor interventions to individual client needs.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Good documentation and organizational skills, including accurate clinical record-keeping and time management.
- Experience or strong interest in musculoskeletal, sports, or orthopedic physiotherapy; prior work in private practice is an advantage.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, openness to feedback, and willingness to contribute to a research-led environment.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical setting and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a team.
