A Physiotherapist(Grade II)is a licensed healthcare professional who assesses, diagnoses, and treats physical impairments, injuries, or disabilities through movement-based therapies and rehabilitation.He/Shecontributes confidently to clinical operations and supports junior colleagues.
Clinical Duties
- Independently manage diverse caseloads, including post-operative, neurological or musculoskeletal cases in both inpatient and outpatient
- Adapt care plans with sound clinical judgement
- Participate in service development and departmental initiatives
- Provide guidance and support to entry-level therapists or studentsor therapy assistants
- Demonstrates teamwork with providing efficient cross-coverage
- Implement and document the following:
- initial assessment
- reassessments every 6 monthly for maintenance and 3 monthly for active rehabilitation
- Individualised rehabilitation goals
- weekly review rehab plan
- treatment updates
- discharge planning
- Demonstrates independent case-management and discussion

- Independent in drafting incident report

- Provides informal mentorship to therapy assistants and PT I Staff
- Recommends improvements to therapy programs and services
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Master/Bachelor in Physiotherapy, recognized by the Singapore Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC).
- Registered with AHPC and holding valid practicing certificate from AHPC.
- BCLS-AEDCertificate
- Relevant Post Graduate qualification is desirable
- 3-6years experience relevant experiencein hospital or nursing home setting
- Relevant community and aged care experience would be desirable.
- Microsoftoffice fullsuite, internet savvy
- Ability to thinkcritically, andbe innovative in creating/modifyingintervention techniques to suit the individual needs of clients.
- Able to work independently
- Good communicationand interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Awareness of current professional, healthcare, and ageing issuesand keep abreast with up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs.
