Your Core Responsibilities
Technology Leadership
- Champion technology development from initial concept through full-scale industrial deployment
- Design and execute comprehensive experimental programs, translating data into strategic roadmaps
- Enhance existing detection capabilities while pioneering next-generation measurement methodologies
Team & Partnership Management
- Direct R&D laboratory operations and cultivate team excellence
- Orchestrate collaborations with external partners and subcontractors for advanced manufacturing
- Provide expert technical guidance and training to clients as their trusted advisor
Strategic Execution
- Accelerate proof-of-concept development for rapid concept validation
- Create compelling technical demonstrations for stakeholders and prospects
- Deliver precise, actionable reports to executive leadership and key stakeholders
Essential Qualifications Required
Technical Foundation
- PhD in Physics or related field OR 8+ years of equivalent senior-level experience
- Specialized expertise in radiation sources, spectroscopy or detection device technologies
- Demonstrated success in technology commercialization and industrial manufacturing
Leadership Excellence
- Proven ability to lead diverse, international project teams in complex technical environments
