WellAway is Singapore's first and largest HSA-registered e-Pharmacy. Our mission is to enable all healthcare stakeholders by providing utmost accessibility to medications. We work with clinics, medical groups and telemedicine providers to fulfil their e-Prescriptions and for home delivery.
The role we are hiring for
We are seeking a pharmacist to manage WellAway's day-to-day operations. The candidate will be leading a team of pharmacy technicians and assistants to ensure medications are dispensed in a safe and efficient manner. As a pharmacist, the candidate is also responsible to provide medication-related information to prescribers and patients.
Responsibilities
- Oversee processing of prescriptions or medication orders
- Provide patient counselling and education
- Lead and guide pharmacy technician(s)
- Ongoing review and fine-tuning of existing workflows and platform to align and optimise standards and guidelines to best practices
- Work with vendors and partners to ensure the systems, workflow and documentation are in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and standards
- Training and mentoring interns as needed
- Picking, handling and appropriate control of Controlled Drugs
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of Controlled Drugs as per regulatory and licensing requirements
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
- Degree in Pharmacy and registered with Singapore Pharmacy Council
- Minimum 2 years working experience
- Entrepreneurial and has an inquisitive mind
- Proficient in the use of modern technology
- Thrives in fast paced, startup-like environment
- Comfortable leading a team independently
