Job Summary
Manage and oversee Passive Fire Protection (PFP) projects in Singapore and overseas, ensuring quality application and compliance across onshore, offshore, marine, and oil & gas industries.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the completion of Passive Fire Protection projects in Singapore and overseas to ensure timely and quality delivery
- Prepare steel surfaces and apply various major brands of PFP coatings for onshore, offshore, marine, and oil & gas industries according to industry standards
- Apply PFP coatings using plural pump systems, including operation, maintenance, and repair to maintain application efficiency
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures for PFP coating applications to meet client and regulatory requirements
- Mobilize equipment and supervise teams of workers, providing on-the-job training to enhance team skills and project outcomes
- Liaise effectively with client representatives, independent inspectors, and product inspection personnel to ensure project compliance and client satisfaction
- Read and interpret technical drawings and prepare detailed reports documenting project progress and issues
- Travel regionally to troubleshoot project challenges and provide training to personnel across group companies
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum higher secondary education
- At least 10 years of experience in surface preparation and PFP application
- Certification as an approved applicator by various PFP product manufacturers
