Established in 2015, Superpets Trading Pte Ltd is Singapore's go-to destination for premium pet supplies. As the official distributor of Farmina Pet Foods - a leading Italian brand renowned for its natural, scientifically formulated nutrition - we are expanding our trade sales team to grow the Farmina brand across Singapore's independent pet retail and boarding & grooming sectors.
As a Brand Sales Representative for Farmina, you will be the face of the brand to Singapore's independent pet retailers and boarding & grooming establishments. Your primary focus is to open new trade accounts, build lasting partnerships, and ensure ongoing account retention - earning commission on both the accounts you open and the revenue you sustain.
Account Acquisition
Identify, prospect, and approach independent pet shops and boarding & grooming businesses across Singapore to carry Farmina products
Conduct product presentations and tastings, articulating Farmina's brand story, nutritional philosophy, and competitive advantages
Negotiate trade terms, opening orders, and shelf/display placement with prospective accounts
Onboard new accounts efficiently, ensuring first orders are processed and fulfilled smoothly
Account Retention & Growth
Maintain regular visit cadence with existing accounts to review performance, replenishment needs, and customer feedback
Drive reorder frequency and product range expansion within each account
Resolve service issues promptly and act as the primary liaison between accounts and Superpets operations
Track account health and flag at-risk accounts to management proactively
Brand Advocacy
Educate retail staff and grooming/boarding teams on Farmina's product range, feeding guidelines, and key differentiators
Ensure correct product merchandising, pricing, and in-store brand visibility at all accounts
Relay market intelligence - competitor activity, pricing trends, customer sentiment - back to the business development team
Represent Farmina at trade events, pet expos, or partner activations as required
This role offers a competitive base salary plus a two-tier commission scheme:
New Account Commission - a one-time incentive paid upon successful opening of each qualifying trade account, subject to minimum opening order criteria
Retention Commission - an ongoing monthly commission based on the sustained purchase volume of active accounts under your management
Performance bonuses may apply for exceeding quarterly account acquisition or revenue targets

Proven track record in B2B field sales, trade sales, or account management - experience in FMCG, pet industry, or health/nutrition a strong advantage
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to cold-call and present to business owners
Self-driven and target-oriented with the ability to manage your own territory and schedule independently
Willingness to travel island-wide regularly for client visits
Ability to carry product samples and conduct in-store demonstrations
Prior knowledge of or passion for pet nutrition, pet care, or the premium pet food market
Existing network within Singapore's independent pet retail or grooming & boarding community
Experience with CRM tools or structured sales reporting
Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Competitive base salary + two-tier commission (new accounts + retention)
