Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to lead a sales team in driving sales for the Singapore Market. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and executing sales strategies, managing stock, warehouse operations, and optimizing logistics processes to contribute to the overall success and growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets in both the Horeca and Retail sectors in the company for Singapore.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to the sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Drive a customer-centric approach, ensuring that the sales team understands and meets client needs effectively.
2. Warehouse Management:
- Oversee stock management, warehouse operations, and logistics functions to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operation.
- Optimize inventory levels and reduce lead times in order not to lose sales due to out of stock situations.
3. Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
4. Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop and adjust sales strategies to address changing market dynamics and achieve a competitive advantage.
5. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners in the Horeca industries.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand client needs, anticipate challenges, and provide effective solutions.
6. Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics
- Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and recommending adjustments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing. MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in a sales leadership role, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
