Job Description

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to lead a sales team in driving sales for the Singapore Market. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and executing sales strategies, managing stock, warehouse operations, and optimizing logistics processes to contribute to the overall success and growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Leadership:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets in both the Horeca and Retail sectors in the company for Singapore.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to the sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Drive a customer-centric approach, ensuring that the sales team understands and meets client needs effectively.

2. Warehouse Management:

  • Oversee stock management, warehouse operations, and logistics functions to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operation.
  • Optimize inventory levels and reduce lead times in order not to lose sales due to out of stock situations.

3. Team Management:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
  • Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.

4. Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop and adjust sales strategies to address changing market dynamics and achieve a competitive advantage.

5. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners in the Horeca industries.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand client needs, anticipate challenges, and provide effective solutions.

6. Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

  1. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics
  2. Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and recommending adjustments as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing. MBA is a plus.
  2. Proven track record of success in a sales leadership role, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
  3. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales team.
  5. Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and market trends to inform decision-making.
  6. Results-oriented, with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives.
