Job Description

Graviton is a privately funded quantitative trading firm striving for excellence in financial markets research. We are seeking a Network Engineer for our team in Singapore. Graviton trades across a multitude of asset classes and trading venues using a gamut of concepts and techniques ranging from time series analysis, filtering, classification, stochastic models, pattern recognition, to statistical inference, analysing terabytes of data to come up with ideas to identify pricing anomalies in financial markets.

What You'll Do:

Create Exceptional Employee Experiences

  • Be a steward of employee experience by delivering people operations that are seamless, empathetic, and dependable.
  • Serve as a trusted partner for employees, ensuring their interactions with People & Culture are clear, timely, and human.
  • Own the quality of day-to-day people operations while continuously looking for ways to simplify and improve how things work.

Design Thoughtful Onboarding & Induction

  • Craft and deliver onboarding experiences that help new hires feel welcomed, informed, and set up for success from day one.
  • Introduce employees to Graviton's culture, values, ways of working, and expectations in a way that feels personal- not procedural.
  • Collaborate closely with managers, global HR partners, and internal teams to ensure onboarding is consistent, inclusive, and well-integrated.

Enable People Programs That Matter

  • Support meaningful people programs including performance development, feedback cycles, and engagement initiatives.
  • Help translate global HR programs into locally relevant, well-executed experiences.
  • Contribute ideas and insights to continuously evolve how we support growth, belonging, and performance.

Build Clear HR Policies

  • Help develop and maintain HR policies that are fair, transparent, and aligned with both legal requirements and Graviton's values.
  • Drive the thoughtful rollout of new policies- ensuring employees understand not just the what, but the why.
  • Partner with the global HR team to balance consistency with local context and regulatory needs.

Operate With Care, Compliance & Integrity

  • Ensure all people operations practices comply with Singapore employment laws and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and well-organized employee records with a strong sense of responsibility and trust.
  • Support audits and reviews with professionalism and attention to detail.

Use Data to Improve the Experience

  • Prepare people insights and reports covering attendance, workforce trends, and attrition.
  • Use data not just for reporting, but to identify patterns, improve processes, and enhance employee experience.

What We're Looking For

  • 25 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore employment regulations and best practices.
  • Experience working with global or distributed teams is a strong plus.
  • A people-first mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and comfort managing multiple priorities.
  • Clear, empathetic communication and the ability to build trust across levels.
