The People Lead is responsible for the design, delivery and management of the People Strategy for Alumni in alignment with business priorities and planned growth. The role acts as a strategic advisor within the leadership team, translating organisational strategy to clear people actions. The People Lead also acts as a key culture carrier, ensuring that all Alumni staff are aligned with the values framework of the organisation:

Key responsibilities include:
Business Partnership and Organisational Design
- Support growth of the organisation through long term people planning and design
- Culture owner, provoking/protecting the Alumni culture and building culture into the employee lifecycle
- Designing and implementing development and training programs
- Development of assessment processes for reviewing talent (talent review, succession planning, performance management, career development)
- Management, training and development of the People team in line with Alumni growth, current one direct report.
- Leadership coaching and support across all entities.
- Reporting to the board on people activities, on a quarterly basis.
- Ownership of culture and engagement initiatives including half yearly Employee engagement Pulse, Culture geo leads and Escape.
HR Operations
- Onboarding - induction, contract generation, onboarding.
- Employment Relations - Mitigation of business risks ensuring alignment with relevant employment law and labour relations. Management of underperformance and employee exit strategies when needed.
- Total Reward - Design of compensation, mobility, benefits, health and wellness.
- Alignment to relevant regulatory requirements across all entities - Ownership of the HRS and people data management, creation and update of all people policies.
Talent Acquisition/Resource Management
- Ownership of design, planning and coordination of talent acquisition programs to meet the staffing needs of Alumni
- Development of sourcing strategy and recruitment tools/partnerships
- Manage recruitment flow, end to end identification of talent gaps and building sourcing pool.
- Head-hunting of staff in Singapore, Hong Kong, UK, Australia
- Head-hunting of Associates globally
- Resource management of Associates pool. Support journey to primarily outcome-based engagements.
- Improve and run Associate community engagement approach
- Face of Alumni into Associate community (co-ordination, curation)
- Embed/showcase culture and value of Alumni to Associates
- Encourage Associate sales - drive commercial mindset through associate network
- Oversight of employment branding and employee value proposition - marketing how to best sell Alumni to potential new recruits
Key skills
- 10+ years HR experience with strong background in Resourcing and Generalist roles.
- Ability to be both hands on and strategic, provide creative solutions across the whole employee lifecycle and responding to people needs across the business.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and engagement skills.
- Experience in regional or global roles, ability to translate and apply best proactive employment legislation across all geographies.
- Experience in Consulting sector and/or start up environments preferred.
