Payment Policy Manager, Singapore

We're hiring a Payment Policy Manager to help shape the rules and frameworks that govern how Alipay+ partners — wallets, acquirers, payment systems, and merchants — operate together safely and efficiently. You'll work at the intersection of business strategy, compliance, and risk, translating fast-moving fintech innovation into clear, scalable policies.

This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to the core decision-making that shapes Alipay+s global partnership ecosystem — ideal for someone who wants to grow into a top-tier payments policy expert.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the rulebook — Maintain and evolve the governing framework for Alipay+ partnerships, covering onboarding, clearing, settlement, fraud, and dispute handling
• Train internal teams — Design and deliver training so stakeholders across the business share a consistent understanding of our policy logic and tools
• Advise on strategy — Partner with business, legal, risk, and product teams to evaluate new initiatives and ensure policies support sustainable growth
• Design new policy — Lead research and development of new rules, turning emerging business strategies into clear, executable governance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field
• 5+ years in the payments industry (digital/mobile payments, fraud, risk consulting, or acquiring)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills — you ask sharp questions and dig for answers fast
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across cross-functional teams
• High attention to detail, especially around the implications of policy language
• Proficient in English and Chinese speaking in daily work for liaising with local and China stakeholders; excellent cross-cultural communication skills
