About the role
As the Payroll Manager at Paradise Group Holdings Pte Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's payroll operations and ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation. This full-time role is based in the Hougang North-East Region and is a key position in the Finance department, reporting to the Deputy Chief Financial Officer.
What you'll be doing
- Managing the end-to-end payroll process, including data collection, calculations, tax and statutory deductions, and payments
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant payroll regulations, labour laws, and company policies
- Providing guidance and support to the payroll team, training them on best practices and new developments
- Analyzing payroll data to identify discrepancies and implement process improvements
- Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll-related queries and issues
- Preparing payroll reports and statements for management and external stakeholders
- Staying up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and regulations
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a payroll management role, preferably in the retail or hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing, including tax regulations, statutory deductions, and compliance requirements
- Proficient in using payroll software and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with employees at all levels
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
