Derivatives Trading Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the derivatives trading desk, including team supervision and performance evaluation
• Develop and implement trading strategies across various asset classes (equity, fixed income, commodities, FX, etc.)
• Monitor market trends and economic indicators to identify trading opportunities
• Execute and manage complex derivatives trades while maintaining compliance and risk controls
• Collaborate with risk management, compliance, operations, and technology teams
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal risk limits
• Generate regular reports and analysis for senior management and stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant working experience, prior working experience in a Fortune 500 Mining company is preferred Bachelor's degree or above is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Independent & committed with initiative.
• Deep understanding of financial instruments, including futures, options, and structured products
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Python, or other relevant trading tools
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Well versed in commodities coverage, including Metallurgical Coke Coking Coal and Copper metal.
• In business communications with regional offices daily.
• Being an integral/key part of global cross commodity business team
• Broad understanding of key commodity markets, to include derivatives and structuring.
