We are seeking a passionate and skilled Kitchen Crew Member to join our kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare soba noodles and other Japanese dishes.
- Assist with general food prep tasks and mise en place for service.
- Cook and plate dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain consistency and high standards in every dish served.
- Ensure all ingredients and dishes meet strict standards for freshness, quality, and taste.
- Monitor food preparation to align with the restaurant's premium dining experience.
- Oversee inventory levels for assigned sections.
- Ensure ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and available as needed.
- Communicate restocking needs to the head chef.
- Follow all hygiene, food safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Keep your station and the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with health standards.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an F&B kitchen setting
- Experience in Japanese cooking is advantageous but not necessary
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
