Working Hours: Mon - Fri (9:30am - 11:30am)
Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct engaging Japanese language lessons designed for preschool and kindergarten children.
- Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that inspires curiosity and language discovery.
- Incorporate songs, stories, games, and visual tools to make lessons enjoyable and effective.
- Track and document children's attendance as well as their learning progress.
- Work closely with fellow educators and share feedback with parents when appropriate.
- Identify potential learning difficulties and refer children for additional support if needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience teaching Japanese to young children, ideally in a preschool or early childhood environment.
- Solid grasp of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Demonstrates patience, creativity, and a true passion for working with children.
- Reliable and able to commit to the required working hours on a long-term basis.
- Basic proficiency in English for communication with staff and parents.
