Job Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a six month contract role to support and perform related duties as assigned by the General Counsel:
. Provide day-to-day legal support to business operations and internal teams.
. Assist in the identification, management and mitigation of legal risks.
. Draft, review and manage contracts, templates and internal legal documents.
. Assist in the delivery of in-house training on legal and compliance topics.
. Assist in the organisation and filing of legal contracts and documentation and overall legal operations.
. Support the management of AEM's IP portfolio.
. Contribute to enhancement of the legal department's resources including development of policies, procedures, templates and checklists (where applicable)
. Assist in the handling of data privacy related issues.
. Assist and manage compliance with SGX listing rules and regulations.
. Support contract lifecycle management and ensure legal consistency across agreements.
. Manage and coordinate with external counsel as and when required.
. Collaborate with internal teams to support and strengthen internal controls.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognised university.
. Strong administrative, organizational, interpersonal and communication (both written and oral) skills.
. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced international environment while consistently meeting critical deadlines.
. Demonstrated ability to work proactively and independently while effectively managing multiple concurrent priorities.
