Panamax Broker – Dry Cargo Desk

Ifchor Galbraiths is a global shipbroking network of 25+ offices and close to500 colleagues worldwide. Our Singapore office is a core hub for theAsia-Pacific teams.

We are hiring a Panamax broker to join the Singapore dry cargo desk, brokingvoyage charters, trip and period time charters, and COAs on Panamax aacrossAsia-Pacific trade lanes.

Responsibilities

- Develop and service a client book of owners, operators, and charterers acrossAsia-Pacific.
- Negotiate main terms and recap fixtures through to clean fixture notes.
- Track BPI routes, FFA curve, and position lists translate into actionableclient guidance.
- Contribute to IG market commentary and coordinate globally to information,team performance and creating client opportunities.

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of dry cargo broking experience with direct Panamax exposure.
- Existing client book in Asia-Pacific dry bulk.
- Strong grasp of charter parties, laytime/demurrage, voyage calculations andTCE economics.
- Fluent written and spoken English. Proficiency in a regional language(Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Japanese) is an advantage given the client base.
- Legal right to work in Singapore.
