Factor I: Accountability
- Lead service project and supervise a team to carry out site execution and ensure effective and efficient management and implementation of site projects assigned to the group.
- Manage and implement service assignment in compliance to company standard procedures and process.
- Prepare service-related reports for customer and internal reporting.
- Achieve and improve customer satisfaction.
- Deliver and close Service projects within customer expected schedule and within project budget.
- Manage and supervise contractors and vendors to achieve project objectives in timely and cost-effective manner.
- Active change order management and pursue project variation orders to improve profit margin.
- Performing all the tests as per the FAT procedure on DCS and Excitation system independently.
- Control and monitor project site execution progress and performance.
- Perform service operation tasks and duties as assigned by LSS Manager.
- Support and collaborate with Sales team on project pursuits.
- Remotely support customers and Service colleagues for DCS or Excitation system troubleshooting.
Scope Data
- Operate in Southeast Asia region and AP region if required.
- Extensive interaction with customers, contractors, vendors, and inter-company coordination.

Knowledge and Skills
How Used
- Degree/ Diploma in an engineering discipline (Automation, Instrumentation).
- Strong technical knowledge of Control Automation products and solutions especially DCS (OVATION) and PLCs.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) and an excellent communicator.
- Experience (minimum required)
- Minimum 8 years as Service engineering role with 12 years working experience in Process Control Automation.
- Good knowledge in power plant, process controls and excitation systems.
- Good supervision skills.
- Good teamwork, interpersonal skills.
- Basic engineering and instrumentation knowledge and experience required.
- Frequent travels within SEA region are expected.
- Liaise with customers of different cultures in SEA and World regions.
- Understanding and Application of products.
- Provide effective communication within Emerson and with local representatives and customers.
- Strong customer focus and understanding customer's requirements.
Factor III: Supervision
- Site installation and commissioning supervision and provide guidance to Service engineers, technicians, customers, and representatives.
Factor IV: Relationships
- Reports to LSS Manager
- Supervision of Service technicians.

- Requires more than 85% travel
