Oracle EPM Consultant
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a consultant for clients in the Greater China market on Oracle EPM Cloud implementations (PBCS/EPBCS)
- Translate complex corporate FP&A processes (e.g., budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning) into well-designed Oracle EPM solutions.
- Analyze business requirements, write detailed functional specifications, and design technology solutions to meet client needs
- Develop, configure, and test Oracle EPM applications, including data integrations, business rules, and reporting.
- Communicate project status and technical concepts effectively in both verbal and written formats to business and IT stakeholders.
- Interface directly with business users to troubleshoot issues, provide training, and ensure successful adoption of the solution
- (For Senior Associate) Lead project workstreams, mentor junior team members, and contribute to solution architecture design.
Mandatory Requirements
- Language Proficiency: Business fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is essential for liaising with clients and stakeholders in the China market. Cantonese is a strong plus.
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Information Systems) or equivalent work experience
- Extensive knowledge of Excel, Essbase Spreadsheet Add-in, and SmartView
Qualifications & Experience
- 2- 6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud EPM (preferably PBCS/EPBCS)
- Demonstrated understanding of core corporate FP&A processes and financial principles.
- Experience in analyzing requirements, conducting tests, and supporting business users
- Proven experience writing functional specifications, troubleshooting complex issues, and leading client-facing sessions
- Strong, hands-on experience with integration tools (FDMEE, Data Management, or ODI) and developing automation scripts with EPM Automate
Preferred Skills & Attributes
- Professional experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or a similar global consulting environment is highly desirable.
- Exceptional client-facing communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum guidance in a dynamic, project-based environment
- Familiarity with emerging EPM technologies and AI-driven features (e.g., Predictive Planning, Auto Predict) within the Oracle ecosystem.
- Prior experience working with clients in the Greater China region is a significant advantage.
