Roles and Responsibilities:
The Ophthalmology Department offers a spectrum of subspecialties including:
- Cataract & Comprehensive Ophthalmology
- Corneal & External Eye Disease
- Glaucoma
- Neuro-ophthalmology
- Ocular Inflammation
- Oculoplastic
- Surgical and Medical Retina
We invite suitably qualified, passionate, and patient-focused applicants to join our team in the following areas:
- Glaucoma
- Oculoplastic
- Cataract and Comprehensive Ophthalmology
Requirements (not limited to):
- Successfully registered with the Singapore Medical Council and accredited by the Specialist Accreditation Board, Ministry of Health.
- MBBS or equivalent basic medical degree, along with relevant postgraduate qualifications aligned to the department's specialty
- Active in clinical practice
- Possess basic medical and postgraduate qualifications from accredited medical universities or schools registrable with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)
- Able to work independently with demonstrated competence in managing patients in a multidisciplinary environment
- For Glaucoma and Oculoplastic positions: extensive subspecialty experience with an accredited fellowship is required
- Completed postgraduate Ophthalmology training with relevant examination qualifications or board certification
- In good standing with the relevant country's medical licensing body
