About Department And Purpose Of The Position

The Department of Pathology at the National University Hospital (NUH) is a leading diagnostic and academic centre within the National University Health System (NUHS) in Singapore. The department plays a pivotal role in patient care by providing accurate, timely, and comprehensive laboratory diagnostic services that underpin clinical decision-making across a wide spectrum of medical specialties.

Beyond diagnostics, the department is deeply committed to medical education, research, and innovation, training the next generation of pathologists and laboratory professionals while advancing the frontiers of pathological science.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to support operations management while playing an active part in shaping departmental automation initiatives. You will gain practical, real-world experience by contributing meaningfully to process improvement efforts and automation-driven projects.

As an Operations Trainee, you will:

• Provide dedicated support to operations management
• Actively contribute to departmental automation initiatives
• Develop practical skills through on-the-job learning
• Play a key role in driving process improvement and automation-related projects.
