Your new role
As Operations Manager (Freight Forwarding), your task is as below but not limited to:
- Oversee daily business functions, ensuring accuracy, productivity, and reliability across logistics operations.
- Lead import, export, transshipment, and nomination teams; develop SOPs and drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct annual reviews, prepare performance reports, and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns, manage shipping claims, and negotiate settlements effectively.
- Manage departmental budgets, align spending with business goals, and contribute to target setting.
What you&aposll need to succeed
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- Strong expertise in Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) operations.
- Proven ability to lead and multitask effectively within a team of more than 10 members.
- Comfortable collaborating across multiple business units and stakeholder groups.
- Proficient in using Sysfreight logistics software.
