Operations Executive

Job Summary:
The Operations Executive is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations. You will be the key link between the company's founders, its merchants, clients, and a team of on-the-ground delivery personnel. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a team of delivery personnel, ensuring they meet operational standards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct regular check-ins and provide support to the delivery team to resolve issues on the ground.
- Implement and enforce operational procedures and policies to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Act as the primary point of contact for merchants and clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Meet with merchants to ensure smooth collaboration and address any operational challenges.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Keep clients updated daily on their operational status.
- Monitor and analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement in logistics, delivery routes, and overall workflow.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
- Handle day-to-day operational issues and provide effective and timely solutions.
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance to the founders.
- Ensure seamless communication between all stakeholders, from the founders to the delivery team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an operations-related role, preferably within the logistics or food and beverage industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.1
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with people at all levels.
- A resourceful and proactive problem-solver who can think on their feet.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in using technology and data to inform decisions.
