Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Executive specializing in Institutional Catering, located in Singapore. The Operations Executive will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of institutional catering services. This includes managing staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, coordinating with suppliers, handling event setup and clearance, and analyzing operational data to enhance efficiency.
The role also involves end-to-end trade operations, including order processing, product deployment, conflict resolution, and ensuring storage and logistics efficiency. Additional duties include maintaining high standards of food quality, managing budgets, and liaising with clients to meet their catering needs.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily institutional catering operations, ensuring smooth service and operational excellence.
Model, motivate, and communicate regularly with all site staff on the mission, vision, and core values.
Manage manpower forecasting, planning, recruitment, and deployment to meet site contractual requirements.
Supervise and guide staff in executing cleaning jobs, event setups, and clearance tasks in line with SOPs and client expectations.
Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations, statutory requirements (SFA/NEA/MUIS), and internal quality standards.
Conduct and monitor on-the-job training (OJT) for new staff to achieve required skillsets and service standards.
Handle client feedback and complaints promptly, implementing corrective and preventive measures.
Prepare, organize, collate, and submit operational and HR documentation in compliance with guidelines and deadlines.
Place orders, replenish, and track cleaning materials, catering supplies, and equipment to minimize wastage.
Maintain proper records of client meetings, toolbox safety meetings, staff inductions, and operational logs.
Support Operations Managers in improving workflows, productivity, and team performance.
Ensure smooth coordination for events, including pre-event preparation, live service execution, and post-event clearance.

Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Strong background in Operations Management with prior experience in institutional catering or foodservice (preferred).
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client management skills.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Independent, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop team members.
