Job Description
About the Company
We are looking for an Operations Engineer, Server & Infrastructure to support the day to day operation, reliability, and maintenance of enterprise server and infrastructure platforms across regional offices.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Windows and Linux server environments and enterprise infrastructure
- Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, vCenter, Proxmox, or equivalent
- Perform OS, firmware, and infrastructure patching, monitoring, and compliance activities
- Manage backup, recovery, and restore testing
- Support Active Directory and related identity services
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents and recurring issues
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and procedures
- Participate in scheduled out of hours maintenance and on call support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in production server infrastructure operations
Required Skills
- Hands on experience with enterprise virtualization platforms
- Strong Windows Server and Active Directory experience
- Linux administration experience
- Experience with patch management, infrastructure monitoring, and backup solutions
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Comfortable supporting infrastructure across multiple countries and time zones
