Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Engineer, located in Singapore. The purpose of this role is to manage patient and healthcare stakeholder relationships with hospitals, homes, and healthcare providers, while ensuring smooth operational deployment of Respiree&aposs products and services. This role focuses on developing and maintaining automated User Acceptance Testing (UAT) frameworks and test scripts to ensure reliable, efficient software testing processes. The position also includes ensuring operational readiness for product releases.
Responsibilities:
Test Automation & UAT Leadership
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated UAT test scripts for new software releases, patches, and feature updates prior to production deployment.
- Build and optimize automated testing frameworks to streamline regression and acceptance testing processes, reducing manual testing effort and improving test coverage.
- Lead the implementation of continuous automated testing pipelines that integrate UAT scripts with development workflows and deployment processes.
- Execute automated and manual UAT plans and test cases in collaboration with product and development teams, ensuring thorough validation before production release.
- Maintain and expand test automation libraries and reusable test components to accelerate testing cycles and improve consistency across releases.
- Document automated test results, track defects through automated reporting systems, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues prior to release.
- Ensure all testing activities and automated processes comply with ISO 13485 and other relevant medical device software standards.
Operational Systems Management
- Monitor and support the management of Respiree&aposs cloud systems and infrastructure for both internal and external purposes.
- Lead the installation and setup of products and solutions, including device preparation, hardware configuration, and related documentation.
- Support Customer Service in the timely resolution of issues related to product use.
- Coordinate operational readiness for software and hardware deployments into production environments.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, software or related discipline
- At least 1 year of experience in software testing
- Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts for web applications and software systems
- Preferably experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and integrating automated tests into development workflows
- Strong analytical, management and communication skills
- Driven personality with a focus on process improvement and automation efficiency
- Strong influencing skills
