Purpose & Scope
To manage a Water / Wastewater treatment plant operation in meeting performance targets of reliability and availability complying fully with SOPs, GHSSE and all relevant regulatory requirements
Liaise with customer working team to ensure off-spec influent is managed effectively
Roles & Responsibilities
In charge of the Water / Wastewater treatment plant by monitoring process parameters, managing plant logistics and working with maintenance to ensure plant equipment is maintained to assure reliability
Water and wastewater treatment plant optimization
Supervise a team of technicians to ensure effective performance of the plant
Review and implement SOPs, shift reports, and plant operating performance
Enforce safety in the Water / Wastewater plant by ensuring safety equipment are inspected regularly by the shift technicians, and all jobs have been carried out in accordance with GHSSE and regulatory requirement.
Support overseas plant operation troubleshooting and commissioning.
Support Plant Manager in developing and implementing AOP for customers.
Major Challenges
Altering plant process parameters / chemical dosing after consultation with Operation Manager and Process Engineering Lead
Plan for overtime and leave coverage for technicians
Key Decisions & Dimensions
Propose good practices control measures to prevent workplace incident.
Review HSSE practices & control measures
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Engineering Field
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred. However, candidates without relevant experience are welcome to apply training will be provided
