TUMCREATE is a multidisciplinary research platform of the Technical University Munich (TUM) at the Singapore Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise (CREATE). Job Summary

This internship offers hands-on exposure to operations, communications and event management within a research and innovation environment. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to improve processes, organise digital and physical assets, and support institutional initiatives and events.

Time commitment

We require an intern who is able to commit a minimum of 8 hours per week. Students who are able to commit full-time for a consecutive period of 6-months are also welcome to apply. Please indicate in your Cover Letter your preference for part-time or full-time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with intellectual property (IP) correspondence and maintain orderly digital file management systems
  • Maintain and update contact database, including data clean-up and migration where required
  • Develop and organise administrative templates for researchers
  • Support communication asset inventory management, ensuring proper tracking and usage of physical (marketing) and digital (photo, video) assets
  • Develop and maintain a permanent Event Stationery Pack
  • Curate and maintain a list of recommended restaurants and event venues for internal use
  • Provide operational and administrative support for international conferences and other events, where required

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced international research environment
  • Stakeholder awareness and professionalism to interact respectfully with colleagues while maintaining discretion and professional conduct
  • Proactive and improvement-oriented mindset
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially excel

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in any field from a reputable university
  • Self-motivated quick learner and good team player
  • Able to work with deadlines and dynamic requirements
  • Preferably students with past relevant internship experience
