Manufacturing Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

• Inspecting and organising the batching plants, motors etc., for preventive maintenance & repairs
• Assist in all measures related to product quality control
• Liaise with customers to ensure accurate delivery arrangements and achievement of production targets
• Educate staff and drivers on the importance of good quality control for concrete
• Conduct site surveys, attend coordination meetings, and ensure readiness for delivery and concreting arrangement
• Oversee mockup testing and the setup of monitoring devices on site to monitor concrete quality
• Assess concrete conditions (e.g. surface, temperature) and ensure proper finishing and protection for freshly cast concrete
• Collect and report real-time data to contractors at site communicate corrective actions when necessary
• Investigate and resolve any quality issues at batching plants and customer sites
• Lead and provide guidance to team in operational activities
• Support Managers to ensure operational activities are compliant with policies and SOPs
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience working in engineering
• Firm grasp of engineering concepts and experience designing mechanical systems and products
• Excellent math skills: the ability to apply advanced mathematical principles and statistics to solve problems
• Experience using AutoCAD or similar
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
• Must be self-motivated and a great team worker
