Job Summary
The Food Services Operations Manager leads daily food service operations to ensure exceptional food safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role drives operational efficiency, manages staff and inventory, coordinates supplier relationships, and enforces compliance with health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily food service operations by managing food preparation, enforcing service standards, and maintaining hygiene practices to deliver consistent quality and safety
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies to maintain compliance and protect customer health
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock control, and coordinate procurement activities with suppliers to optimize resource availability and reduce waste
- Supervise, train, and schedule food service staff to enhance team performance and maintain operational effectiveness
- Develop and implement operational procedures that improve service efficiency and elevate the customer experience
- Analyze sales reports, manage budgets, and control operational costs to support financial sustainability and profitability
- Address customer inquiries and resolve service-related issues promptly to uphold high customer satisfaction
- Collaborate in menu planning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to drive business growth
- Conduct regular workplace audits to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare detailed operational reports for management review to inform strategic decision-making
