Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily manufacturing operations across multiple functions, including assembly, inspection, testing, and final system validation for complex equipment and subsystems.
- Plan and prioritize production schedules by balancing manpower, machine capacity, material availability, and operational efficiency to meet delivery targets.
- Drive operational performance by tracking key metrics (e.g., cycle time, throughput, quality) and facilitating regular reviews, milestone discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for resolving production and operational issues that may impact delivery timelines or customer satisfaction, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with customer and supplier requirements, while identifying quality gaps and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards drive training, awareness, and adherence to workplace safety practices.
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams through effective hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development planning.
- Analyze production capacity and identify opportunities for optimization implement systems and processes to monitor real-time manufacturing performance and data-driven decision-making.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing productivity, quality, and efficiency using structured methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment (e.g., semiconductor, electronics, or precision equipment), including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of advanced manufacturing operations, process integration, and factory systems
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive operational improvements, and manage complex production environments.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and digital/Industry 4.0 tools is highly preferred.
