Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure products meet company and customer quality requirements
  • Test products and processes to check quality and improve performance
  • Collect and analyse production and test data to find issues and trends
  • Create and maintain inspection and testing procedures
  • Identify problems and lead corrective actions to fix them
  • Analyse data using Excel and recommend improvements
  • Improve work processes to increase efficiency and quality
  • Track product testing and approval status
  • Review reliability test results and approve qualification reports
  • Read and understand technical drawings and specifications
  • Help reduce testing time and cost while maintaining quality
  • Support continuous improvement in product quality and customer experience
  • Monitor product performance in the field and detect issues early
  • Investigate problems using root cause analysis (e.g. 8D) and prevent recurrence
  • Handle customer complaints and quality escalations
  • Work with engineering, suppliers, and internal teams to solve quality issues
  • Support or lead audits when required
  • Use customer feedback to improve future product designs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3-8 years of experience in quality engineering within industrial equipment (semiconductor preferred)
  • Root cause analysis (8D, SCAR) and corrective/preventive actions
  • Continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma - Green Belt or equivalent preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required) and Power BI
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
  • Proven ability to manage customer issues and supplier performance (KPIs, PPM, cost recovery, warranty)
  • Knowledge of quality systems and standards (ISO 9001)
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
