1. Role Objective
To oversee and manage the daily operations, manpower deployment, service quality, and client coordination for all housekeeping and engineering services, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high service standards across all sites.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Daily Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations for:Hotel housekeeping (room attendants, supervisors)Public area cleaning teamsEngineering/technical teams (aircon, maintenance, FM support)
- Ensure all sites are properly staffed, on time, and operational
- Monitor job completion status and resolve delays immediately
- Conduct daily operations review (morning + end-of-day reporting)
B. Manpower Planning & Deployment
- Plan and assign manpower based on:Occupancy levelsWorkload (rooms / tasks / service contracts)
- Manage last-minute absenteeism, no-shows, and replacements
- Coordinate standby staff deployment
- Optimize manpower cost vs productivity (credits / hours / output)
C. Quality Control & SOP Compliance
- Ensure all teams follow:Company SOPs (housekeeping & engineering)Client requirements and KPIs
- Conduct random inspections (rooms, public areas, technical works)
- Handle service failures and implement corrective actions
- Maintain minimum quality rating targets (e.g. ≥4.5 client satisfaction)
D. Client & Site Coordination
- Act as main point of contact for:Hotel managementProperty managersCorporate clients
- Attend site meetings and resolve operational issues
- Provide weekly performance updates to clients
- Ensure contract deliverables are met
E. Staff Supervision & Training
- Supervise supervisors, team leaders, and technicians
- Conduct:Onboarding trainingSOP refresh trainingPerformance coaching
- Enforce discipline, grooming, and service standards
F. Engineering / Technical Oversight
- Monitor:Preventive maintenance schedulesAircon servicing / technical works
- Ensure technicians follow safety procedures
- Coordinate troubleshooting and urgent repair jobs
G. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit:Daily operations reportWeekly manpower & performance reportIncident / complaint reports
- Track:AttendanceProductivity (rooms / hours / jobs completed)Service quality metrics
H. Business Travel & Multi-Site Management
- Travel between multiple sites (Singapore / Vietnam if required)
- Support new site setup, project mobilization, and audits
- Assist management in expanding operations
3. Working Conditions
- Working Days: 6 days per week (including weekends)
- Off Day: 1 weekday (rotational)
- Shift Work Required:Morning / Afternoon / Night Shift (on rotation or standby)
- Working Hours:Flexible based on operations (including early morning & late night)
- On-Call Duty:Required for emergency situations (staff no-show, urgent client issues)
