Oil Broker

Key responsibilities:

- Maintain a quality Forward Curves for the desk /team you are aligned to (light-ends/middle distillates/Fuel/FFA) update and mark values.

- Be a key contributor to the revenue for the desk

- Business Development - make contact with potential clients to develop new business prospects

- Maintain relationships with existing clients

- Drive market research for the desk and feed into the reports for the internal and external stakeholders

- Develop a training module and conduct training for Juniors in the team as well as other internal stakeholders on a periodical basis.

- Guide and train juniors on the desk, be responsible for their growth within the team

Applicant pre-requisites:

- About 3 years of working experience in physical and/or swaps brokering, as relevant

- Strong understanding of all aspects of physical oil trading business - operations, refining processes and transactions.

- A strong and active clientele base

- Strong hold on basic numerical skills

- Swift and accurate

- Driven, able to motivate juniors and is a team player.

- Familiar with Bloomberg /Eikon Terminal/Platts

- Able to work across Asian/European market hours.

- Effortless movement between wfh and office setup

- Thrives in cross-cultural work environment.
