Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to nursing standards as mandated by relevant health authorities. Lead quality assurance initiatives to assess and enhance the quality of nursing care provided. Conduct periodic quality audits and implement necessary corrective actions. Maintain and update all written policies and procedures to guide nursing practices. Oversee the transition of residents from acute care to chronic care, facilitating their return to the community where feasible. Directly manage resident care to meet established compliance standards. Ensure optimal staffing levels and skill mix across all service shifts. Facilitate staff development and training programs, focusing on current nursing practices and competencies. Guide the orientation and training processes for new staff members.

Requirements

• Degree in Nursing. Valid practicing certificate issued by the relevant nursing board. Valid certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS). Preferably possess two to three years of experience in a similar nursing role within a nursing home or geriatric ward.
