Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for planning, coordination, and execution of nursing education and training programs. Assist in the development of curricula based on feedback related to training and practice issues. Conduct regular assessments of nurses competencies to uphold and improve professional nursing standards. Perform performance appraisals for junior staff in the respective department.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing or an equivalent qualification. Post-basic Specialty Certificate in Nursing Education or a Master's in Nursing Education is advantageous. Valid Singapore Nursing Board practicing certificate for Registered Nurse. Valid BCLS and AED certification or BCLS and AED instructor certification. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Senior Staff Nurse or Clinician. Preferred experience in preceptorship and clinical teaching/supervision.
