We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Network Operations Lead to manage end-to-end network infrastructure operations, incident response, system health, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, and F5 technologies, along with solid knowledge of ITSM/ITIL practices. This role ensures optimal network performance, availability, security, and compliance across the environment.

Key Responsibilities

Incident & Problem Management

  • Lead investigation and resolution of network hardware, software, and firmware incidents.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent or temporary fixes.
  • Provide timely communication and status updates to stakeholders.

Network Operations & Monitoring

  • Perform daily system health checks and continuous monitoring for performance, availability, and security.
  • Escalate abnormalities promptly and ensure proactive mitigation.
  • Ensure backups for all network devices are executed and verified.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date network diagrams, records, and documentation.
  • Review and update SOPs with customers and internal teams.
  • Create and maintain documentation for all implemented network solutions.

Infrastructure Planning & Implementation

  • Gather requirements to design, install, test, and deploy network systems.
  • Plan and execute hardware and firmware upgrades with rollback plans.
  • Implement service continuity, backup/restore, and disaster recovery procedures.

Security & Compliance

  • Perform monthly firewall rule reviews for relevance and security posture.
  • Validate configurations against CIS benchmarks and remediate non-compliance.
  • Conduct log reviews and escalate potential security events.

Asset & Patch Management

  • Reconcile physical/logical network assets and update CMDB monthly.
  • Execute patch management lifecycle: scanning, prioritization, deployment, and testing.

Capacity Planning & Reporting

  • Analyze resource consumption and forecast capacity needs.
  • Prepare monthly service reports covering metrics, incidents, changes, and performance.

Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead, mentor, and guide a team of network engineers.
  • Assess internal and external environments to support long-term strategy.
  • Support proposal preparation and technical solution presentations.

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and load balancers
  • Experience with Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls
  • Familiarity with F5 Load Balancers
  • Deep understanding of network protocols, performance tuning, and security standards

Reporting & Deliverables

Monthly reports: service metrics, firmware/software updates, account reviews, patch compliance, asset reconciliation, firewall audits, capacity planning, and security compliance.

Daily checks: health check logs and monitoring summaries.
