Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance the operational efficiency of our network infrastructure to meet business needs.
- Implement and maintain network configurations, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and updates to the network environment.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, including network diagrams, procedures, and runbooks.
- Able to travel to various site in Singapore for network outfitting projects
- Provide support for network-related incidents and escalations.
- Provide after-hours support as needed.
Requirements:
- Local Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or operations roles
- Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, VPN, and DNS.
- Minimum CCNA or equivalent certification
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent networking equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills:
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, PRTG).
- Knowledge of cloud networking technologies and architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP)
