Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement best practices and standards for the company's networking requirements.
- Design and manage network topologies, including preparing Visio diagrams and configuration templates.
- Conduct IP addressing, documentation, and provide detailed switching/routing configurations.
- Coordinate with end users to identify and address network improvement needs based on system requirements.
- Perform preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and backups to ensure high availability.
- Investigate and resolve security issues and analyze causes of system failures.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices during integration of new network systems.
- Evaluate network performance and provide technical input on acquisitions to senior management.
Requirements
Mandatory Skills:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in data center networking.
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS).
- Hands-on expertise in configuring and managing networking devices.
- Proven track record in network performance improvement and maintenance.
- Ability to prepare technical documentation and configuration templates.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with network security practices and tools.
- Experience with bandwidth analysis and troubleshooting.
