Netis Global is presently expanding and we are in search of a Network Engineer to join our team in Singapore. You will be participating in the implementation, monitoring, maintenance and support of our Performance Monitoring solutions ensuring stability and running of the solution for our clients and channel partners in Singapore.
This individual will be provided with adequate inhouse training to familiarize with the performance monitoring tool.
Responsibilities:
- Assist to maintain and deliver our Performance Monitoring solutions in accordance to solution and clients infrastructure environment, reviewing the servers, routers, switches, UPSs, and other hardware of client's infrastructure
- Configure networks and application system to ensure the efficiency of our Performance Monitoring Solutions for smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling clients business objectives, processes and SLA commitments
- Monitor Traffic, Service and Application performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and to conduct regular test to ensure stability of platform
- Perform regular network system backups and recovery processes and maintain relevant documents for updates.
- Provide support for clients and partners with ability to handle network troubleshooting and resolution, network implementation, optimization, and ongoing management.
- Ensure on-going and regular client and partner engagement to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and understand any technical concerns.
- Create and maintain network documentations, including diagrams, standards, and configurations.
- Ensure that all network configurations comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Support in troubleshooting exercise and discussions
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant on the job training will be provided.
- Certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP or CompTIA Network+ will be a plus.
- Possess understanding of network services and networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, and switching.
- Possess understanding of network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark).
- Possess experience in installing and configuring network equipment
- Able to create and maintain network documentations, including diagrams, standards, and configurations.
- Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Good interpersonal skills with problem-solving abilities and attention to details are preferred
- Having a customer success-oriented mindset is preferred
- Willingness to travel as required in Singapore and occasionally across APAC for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management.
