Partner with project management and technical teams to design and implement advanced network solutions across 4G/5G core, IP/MPLS, roaming, and data center environments.
Configure and deploy 5G core components, including DC, Internet, and Security Gateways.
Design and optimize IP transport networks using Segment Routing and SRv6.
Implement real-time monitoring and telemetry for network visibility and proactive fault detection.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate compliance with KPIs.
Troubleshoot and optimize network performance across 4G/5G, IP, and data center infrastructures.
Apply robust network security practices, ensuring high availability and protection against threats.
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for equipment procurement and software integration.
Develop and maintain Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for network deployment, upgrades, and operations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in network engineering, ideally within telecom operators, ISPs, or large enterprise environments.
Strong expertise in IP/MPLS, 4G EPC, and 5G Core (SA/NSA) technologies.
Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, IPv4/IPv6) and MPLS L2/L3 VPN.
Good knowledge of network security frameworks and firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.).
Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with network monitoring and telemetry tools (Nagios, Smokeping, Cacti, gNMI).
Skills in network automation and scripting (Python, Shell scripting) are highly valued.
Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical mindset, and ability to work in multicultural environments.
