Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our high-performing team responsible for critical network services, load balancing platforms, and automation initiatives across a large-scale enterprise environment.
In this role, you will lead platform enhancement and migration activities, support business-as-usual operations, and contribute to the adoption of network automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support critical network infrastructure services, load balancing platforms and DNS, DHCP, NTP.
- Maintain the stability, performance, and security of network services across enterprise environments.
- Drive platform upgrades, software lifecycle management, and migration initiatives.
- Design and implement scalable network solutions that align with business and operational requirements.
- Support the onboarding of new applications and services onto load balancing platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure, security, and application teams.
- Identify and develop automation opportunities to streamline operational tasks and improve service efficiency.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 7-9+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure, or related disciplines.
- Strong hands-on experience with load balancing technologies such as:
o F5 Networks
o VMware AVI / NSX Advanced Load Balancer
- Solid understanding of IP services, including DNS, DHCP & NTP
- Experience designing and supporting large-scale enterprise network environments.
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Multicast technologies
- Experience with Cisco networking platforms, including Catalyst and Nexus solutions.
- Knowledge of network virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi and NSX-T.
- Exposure to automation technologies, scripting, and APIs
- Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
Desired Skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, F5 Certified Technology Professional (F5-CTP), or equivalent.
- Experience with DDI platforms and enterprise DNS solutions.
- Exposure to network automation frameworks and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
