Job Title: Network Engineer (Cisco ACI)
Location- Singapore
Duration- 12 Months contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with hands-on experience in Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) to design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of data center networking, routing/switching, and network automation concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Cisco ACI-based data center networks
- Configure and troubleshoot ACI components (APIC, leaf/spine switches)
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability
- Implement network policies, tenants, VRFs, bridge domains, and EPGs
- Integrate ACI with traditional networking environments
- Troubleshoot L2/L3 issues, including routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
- Work with security teams to enforce segmentation and policies
- Perform firmware upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities
- Document network configurations, diagrams, and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for network-related projects
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 2–5+ years of experience in networking
- Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, VXLAN, and networking fundamentals
- Experience with Cisco Nexus switches and data center technologies
- Knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
- Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Basic understanding of network security concepts
Preferred Skills:
- Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or Data Center specialization)
- Experience with automation tools (Python, Ansible, REST APIs)
- Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
