We are seeking a highly skilled Network Automation Engineer to join our Network Infrastructure team. This role focuses on building scalable automation solutions to manage and optimize global network infrastructure. You will work closely with network engineers and software developers to streamline operations, reduce manual tasks, and improve reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation tools and scripts for network provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.
- Integrate automation workflows with existing systems and APIs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automated network environments.
- Contribute to documentation and best practices for automation processes.
Required Skills
- Strong Python programming/scripting experience for automation and tooling.
- Proficiency in Linux systems, including shell scripting, system administration, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience automating tasks for network infrastructure, such as device configuration, monitoring, and deployment.
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF), and tools like Ansible, Netmiko, Nornir, or REST APIs.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Preferred Qualifications
- Good to have frontend experience - ReactJS or JavaScript
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Contributions to open-source automation projects.
